We want you to love and enjoy every sip of Matea Beverages. However, if something isn't right, we are here to help.

90-Day Return Window

The 90-Day Guarantee We stand by the craft of Matea. If you aren't satisfied, you have 90 days from the date of purchase to request a return.

Return Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for a return, your items must be in the identical condition in which they were received:

  • Unopened & Unused: Seal integrity must be 100% intact.

  • Original Packaging: Items must be in their original branding/casing.

  • Proof of Purchase: A receipt or digital order confirmation is required.

The "Full Pack" Rule: We only accept returns on complete, unaltered packs.

Example: If you ordered a 9-pack and have consumed 3 cans, the remaining 6 cans are no longer eligible for return. The pack must be returned in its original quantity (9/9) to qualify for a refund. We do not offer partial returns on consumed bundles.

Note on Perishables: Because our beverages are perishable, we can only accept returns on items that are unopened and have been stored according to the instructions on the label. Returns will be voided if the product has been compromised by improper storage or exposure to heat.

 

How to Start a Return

To start a return, please contact us at hello@mateabeverages.com.

  • If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, along with instructions on how and where to send your package.

  • Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

 

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. Contact us immediately if:

  1. The item is defective or damaged (e.g., broken glass or leaking bottles).

  2. You received the wrong item or flavor.

We will evaluate the issue immediately and make it right by sending a replacement or issuing a refund.

 

Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned:

  • Perishable Goods: Opened bottles or cans cannot be returned for food safety reasons.

  • Sale Items & Gift Cards: Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

 

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please keep in mind it can take 5-10 business days for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
